Sierra’s dam is a blue-ribbon winner, a daughter of the multiple blue-ribbon winner Durango, and a granddaughter of the well-known Kenamori Gold. Sierra’s sire is the son of Request the Best and has won multiple awards including a blue ribbon and Reserve Color Championship at the 2002 Virginia Classic.
Sierra has confidence and personality. She appears to have picked up the best traits of both her parents: fiber with crimp and density, conformation, and playfulness.
Sierra’s fiber was Medium Rose Grey during her 1st month, during her 2nd month her fiber began growing Mediun to Light Silver Grey. At this time her primary color is Light Silver Grey. Secondary colors on her legs and belly are Dark to Medium Rose Grey.
In the Fall of 2010 Sierra was bred to our own Herdsire Sterling Silver.Look out for their cria in October 2011.
If you are breeding for grey…Sierra’s your girl.
Sierra's purchase price includes TWO free breedings to one of our available herdsires.
