Rhiannon is a daughter of the award-winning herdsire Challenger. She throws her sire’s rose grey genetics to her offspring, her conformation is excellent, her deliveries are effortless, and she’s a remarkable mom. She has a dark rose grey spot on the side of her face and when bred to color she throws color.
In the fall of 2007 she was bred to Ben MacDhui a Medium Silver Grey son of Request The Best. Her 2008 Cria is a True Black Girl named Misty.
In Spring 2009 Rhiannon was bred with our own Herdsire Lucky Charm…. The two of them abound with Grey & Black Genetics look out for their cria in the Spring 2010.
Rhiannon's price includes two free breedings to one of our own herdsires.

Royal Peruvian Challenger is the rarest of rare: a dark rose grey Peruvian male who has incredible presence, beautiful conformation, and remarkable fiber qualities. He is Royal Peruvian Apollo's younger brother. Most important for a herdsire, his cria exhibit his tremendous qualities and are often retained in herds for foundation females or herdsires. His offspring come in many colors from silver grey, rose grey, black, dark fawn, to white depending on the dam's color & pedigree. He has produced grays out of brown females, and a silver grey out of a fawn female. No matter the color, his offspring are collecting ribbons across the country. From the Monterey Pronk in California to the Midwest Alpaca Show to the MAPACA Jubilee, his offspring have won Championships, Reserve Championships, and blue ribbons.
