Lucky Charm is a son of the well known “2006 Reserve Herd Sire of the Year” Dark Shaddow. Dark Shaddow's book is closed to outside breedings. Shaddow's offspring are taking the show ring by storm, having won more than 50 championships (17 alone in 2006) and several blue ribbons. Dark Shaddow is without a doubt the best true black male in the USA. No other herd sire compares.
Lucky Charm is the Grandson of Black Ice. Black Ice had proven himself as a champion producer. This solidly built male had outstanding substance of bone and an attractive head. His fleece was extremely dense and he passed on his great color and fiber characteristics to his crias. Black Ice is now deceased, his west coast genetics can only be found in his offspring.
Lucky Charm has inherited his true black color from his sire and grandsire. He is a handsome male exhibiting very fine, dense fleece with wonderful character. He has fantastic conformation and wonderful presence.
There’s More….Lucky’s Great Grandsire is 5Peruvian Camelot 9040. Camelot, well known for his maroon color, is one of Stachowski's signature herdsires. Camelot was imported from the Macusani area in Peru. He was never shown but won the Western Ohio Triple Crown Get of Sire and has sired numerous award winners.
Lucky Charm began his award-winning show career in 2006 and has done his sire justice. His awards include 2nd in a True Black Shorn class, a 4th in a class of 9, & 5th in a class of 10, in two Full Fleece True Black Halter classes.
