November 2009 - A Cadet Girl Scout Troop visits the farm.
November 7th - Troop 662
The Cadets participated in a Farm Tour and a Wet Felting Workshop with the Alpaca Fleece.
This group gets a special treat. Topaz was born on the morning of their event. She was only a couple of hours old when they visited the barn. Questions and discussions about the delivery and her neonatal care was an exciting part of their experience.
The troop plans to revisit our farm on our Shearing day in April.
The Girl Scouts took the Wet Felted jewelry they made and some informational handouts home.
An educational and fun time was had by ALL!!!
The Girl Scouts showing off the bracelets, and necklaces they made during their wet felting workshop.
If you have a group that would be interested in planning a Tour and Wet Felting Workshop check out our TOURS web page for details and call me to register today.
