 | Animal Production Interview (Click Here To Read Carol's Paper)
Carol Chudoba; is a student at Purdue University enrolled in the Veterinary Technician Distance Learning Program. She had an assignment in her "Animal Science and Industry" course to write a paper on an aspect of animal production that interests her.
Carol chose to write her Animal Production Interview paper on the subject of the alpaca farming industry in the United States. She contacted us in early November after seeing our website and asked if she could interview us for her paper.
Carol and her husband visited us on a Sunday afternoon. We talked about alpacas for a couple of hours. In late November she sent us a copy of her Production Interview paper and informed us that she received an "A" for her final grade.
I hope you enjoy reading her paper; Animal Production Interview |

This group gets a special treat. Topaz was born on the morning of their event. She was only a couple of hours old when they visited the barn. Questions and discussions about the delivery and her neonatal care was an exciting part of their experience.
The troop plans to revisit our farm on our Shearing day in April. We’re looking forward to having them back at the farm!! |
